The Newtown Rotary Foundation, a non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, will run its annual fundraising raffle beginning Sunday, December 5, 2021, with raffle tickets available through Friday, February 18 at 11:59 PM. The prize drawing is scheduled for Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 7:30 PM at Marigold’s on Main.

This year, the club is offering $3,000 in prizes. Awarding three prepaid Visa gift cards valued at $1,500., $1,000., and $500.

100% of the funds raised will support the club’s annual giving budget, supporting local community organizations and events. To learn more, please visit the club’s website at www.newtownctrotary.org

A book of 5 tickets is $100. A fund raising raffle ticket is the perfect gift for an employee, friend or neighbor. The drawing will be on February 22 at 7:30 pm. There are only 1000 tickets available. Tickets can be purchased on our website, or in person at Newtown Florist, 111 South Main Street or by calling our President, Alex Villamil at 203-223-3524.


Tickets purchased online will be mailed via USPS as a receipt of drawing entry, while ticket stubs will be retained by the club for the drawing entry on February 22, 2022.

The prize drawing will be held at Marigold’s on Main, 19 Main Street, at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.


The Newtown Rotary Club has been active in the Newtown community since 1939 and consists of all volunteers who provide community services in many ways throughout the year. Oversight of the Fund will be provided by members of the Newtown Rotary Club and Newtown Rotary Foundation.

Since 1939 Newtown Rotary has supported our community with hundreds of grants, community service projects, student programs, scholarship, and much much more. Every year we seek support from the community to finance all of this work. Gifts to the Newtown Rotary Foundation are tax deductible.
